The Love & Praise Fellowship House of Worship was founded in 1987 by: Eld. Rufus Chapman.  Eld. Rufus Chapman felt the leading of the Lord to start a ministry in the city of Agustin, WM. After much prayer and fasting, the church was formed.

Through prayer, witnessing, fellowshipping, and outreach, the Love & Praise Fellowship House of Worship has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 1987 under the leadership of Eld. Rufus Chapman. He is helped in the ministry by his wife Shawn Chapman.  They work tirelessly with the help of the assistant pastor, Elder Brett Strunk, and the other leaders of the church.

The church joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 1989.  Under the leadership of Pastor Leol Jones Hall, through the Greater Buelahland Fellowship, WM; the church has flourished significantly through its programs.

The Love & Praise Fellowship House of Worship is also a member of the House of Worship Fellowship of Churches.

The church has a number of ministries that help its members grow in Christ.  The church's leadership team and ministry staff members are well trained to minister to the members of Love & Praise Fellowship House of Worship.
